O wow, the public breakup between Terry Mcauliffe and Bloomberg's minions is amazingly hilarious! With lots of "he said - she said" going back and forth!Brian Coy {McAuliffe’s spokesman} spoke dismissively of Everytown for Gun Safety, which is associated with former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, as a “group from New York†that does not have the interests of Virginians at heart.“One group from New York and its affiliates are upset, but that does not represent Virginia views on this,†Coy said. “We had no interaction with Everytown, the national folks, until after this deal became public. We wouldn’t have even known who to call.â€LOL, he is sooooo full of it, the governor was in contact with "everytown" in the lead up to the new rules, not too mention all the help he received from bloomberg back during the election.Bloomberg's minions hit back!On Saturday, Everytown released a copy of an email showing that the group and the administration had been in contact forat least 18 months. The August 2014 email, which concerned a letter McAuliffe wrote praising Everytown for its advocacy, was between Everytown’s communications director, Erika Soto Lamb, and three members of the McAuliffe administration, including Coy. The others were Jamie Radice, then McAuliffe’s communications chief, and Ryan O’Toole, a special assistant in constituent service.LOL!It is a falsehood to say the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence was not in on this on this,†he said. “That’s abjectly false. . . . She was aware, she was fully briefed and apprised of the discussion. She provided input.â€Haas, a critic of the deal, disputed that account.“I was told about the deal less than 48 hours before The Washington Post broke the story,†she said. “I was not brought in. I was told about the deal.â€

Why bother to call jerry? We all know Jerry will just tell Bloomberg, 'You are the father of most these bullshit fights.'The fact that he describes himself as independent means he can feel free to work at undermining candidates from both parties without consequences. He's also free to steal votes, should he decide to run, from both sides.

DonP (5,521 posts)4. The only real alternative to Bloomberg they have is to get out their own checkbooks...... and that just ain't gonna happen, with gun controllers as "dedicated" and "principled" as they are.

That thread has great potential to be a great , but bloomberg supporters seem not to be interested. It must be a tough row to hoe for antigun (D)Ummies, getting bitchslapped by progun (D)Ummies.CMD
Anti-gun DUmmies get bitch-slapped all the time. But, they act like a pigeon on a chessboard.
A Lib/Prog circular urination match would be very desirable. Is it my imagination? Or do I correctly sense a hint of antisemitism in a couple of those quotes?
These are dummies you're talking about. There would probably be a line of volunteers to be the pivot man.
