So her score was an end 500 then?
I do not understand the DUmmies' fascination with credit scores. For a group of people so adamant about their senses of self-worth, and for a group so righteous in its self-identity as the vanguard of American society, they certain seem invested in what Citigroup thinks of them.
This is odd. From many, many years of reading DU, they claim that:
(a) their credit scores are over 800, or
(b) they pay cash for everything, and have no interest in credit scores, or
(c) they have one credit card that they pay down each month, so scores are irrelevant.
In other words, their claims regarding their credit histories mirror their claims about their diets: pure and pristine. Yet a simple glance at the fat slobs indicates something quite different, viz., their credit histories must be as spotty as their cirrhotic livers.
In any event, their adamance concerning credit scores betrays the fact that they really, really, REALLY care what people think about them. They are desperate for an agency like FICO to generate scores which proclaim to the world that yes, KamaAina is the most creditworthy person on Earth, that if he in his colossal fagginess nevertheless decides to borrow money from you, that he will certainly and absolutelky repay the money at the agreed terms regardless of circumstance.
Which is weird, given how often they advise each other to not pay their bills because the banks can afford it.
I'm stumped, actually. Lurkers: why do you care what banks think of you, when you claim you don't care what people think of you, and when you pay cash for everything?
