Why is all speculation allowed, except 9/11 speculation?

Also, why are we so ready to believe that the election in 2000 was stolen but not that those who stole it are capable of planning and executing the attacks of 9/11?

Well... even the DUmp Monkiez are worried about looking like idiots and so they banish such talk to the 'dungeon' of DU.

4. No, I'm talking about speculation is allowed on all sorts of things, the 2000 election, voting fraud...etc. But if it's about 9/11, it has to go to the dungeon.

Why is that?

Because of this: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=125x56836

6. For all its purported "Undergroundedness," DU generally hews to officially approved narratives....

On a similar note, it's not okay to discuss sex, and there's no forum for sex toys, say, but they happily provide a forum for guns, which are mostly implements of cruelty and butchery.

That's hardly "underground" thinking...

Why one and not the other?

Have you ever read the book 1984? DU is the realization of the book.

Can't talk about what bush did. nope, not allowed.

The pos was a crook but exposing his worst is not allowed

Yes. Skinner is all about protecting the Bush family crime empire or something...

12. The answer goes back to the old days on DU. Most of it is even before my time. The reason why the old 9/11 group as well as guns and I/P exist is so they don't dominate GD. People would get into massive arguments about these topics. Some of them were dungeoned and DU seems to be a happier place.

Only the approved talk may happen on DU and you will be happy for it.

It's in your best interest.

Did that Troofer thread that got its own thread here get shut down and/or deleted?

For my part, the more DU-folks devote energy to loony Hate-Bush conspiracy theories, the more they waste energy that could have done worse things to this country, and the more entertaining for me.
