Funny how the DUmmies suddenly are intimately concerned with the goings-on in the South, the object of their endless ridicule and scorn (because not all Americans can be as sophisticated as a money-obsessed wearer of overalls or a man whose wife's existence annihilates his). Say, did you guy know that the KY clerk in question is a DEMOCRAT?

If there's anything that brother Randy understands, it's finance. Add to it that Randy repeatedly mentions "25 million" teaparty members, which (a) this clerk is not, and in fact, Randy, you idiot, she's an ELECTED DEMOCRAT, and (b) he has been explicit about his desire to see them all killed, yet he got his bowels in an uproar when we dared to call him on his hypocrisy (oops, sorry DUmmy lurkers: HYPOCRACY. There. Now even you can understand what I mean).

But to answer your question, Randy, no. There is no way to get to her, financially. She almost certainly doesn't have your wealth, anyway, unless of course she inherited a business, like you seem to have.

So what happens if the fed decide to jail the county clerk and all of the employees in her office for contempt of court?  What if the county refuses to appoint a replacement and just closes the office, not letting any marriage licenses be issued?
