After 10 years, I've never seen DU as crazy as it is right now.


I've seen some epic wars, but this seems the worst.

I find myself getting sick to my stomach after doing my daily read.

What is appalling is the complete lack of critical thinking skills applied to the arguments being made. This rush to crucify the Seattle protestors due to profiles of them created with little or no evidence shows astounding bias on the part of some Sanders supporters. I am losing massive respect for people I used to have respect for, in many cases. Marissa is tried and convicted based on little or nothing.

The larger problem is that no matter how clearly, simply, and openly the POC on this forum state their point of view, and how it is factually supported, their viewpoint is completely ignored by many members here on DU. Despite some Sanders supporters claim to be progressive, the viewpoints of POC are rejected because it doesn't fit with these Sanders supporters personal narrative, facts be damned. This is willful ignorance, and possibly something more.

I am good at communication. So are many here. This doesn't matter. There is no level of clarity that can break through this morass. The Sanders supporters have huge numbers on their side, which means that they will win jury alerts, which are really now nothing but popularity votes. The majority tramples the minority. Is this what DU is supposed to be about?

That is practically gospel. There is no such thing as a happy liberal. They live for the latest "outrage". I don't know how they do it, I would certainly have died from a major cardiac event by now if I lived in a state of constant anger. I can only guess its the giant cocktail of meds that most of them are on that keep them wandering the earth (both legal and 'self prescribed').

My personal medicine cabinet consists of two things. Flonase as I have fairly bad allergies, and Aleve for headaches (often related to said allergies). The odds are I'll also need a high blood pressure med in the future, genetics say I'm unlikely to escape that. I could also drop a few pounds. Other than that, I'm in good shape for someone who is 45. Compare that to the average DUmmy. They are almost all aged beyond their years, take a ton of meds, and die from illnesses often self-inflicted.

And I think it all ties back to living a life of constant anger.

As soon as Slow Joe agrees to run, you can expect to see the IRS and military intelligence join in the attack on the Hildebeast.

She and Willy dissed the Kenyan in 2008, and Chicago politicians have long memories.

If there is one point that my Dummy mole would love to point out it is that as of right now, the democrats do not have a viable candidate and of all those in currently in the running, none of them will actually get the nomination. IMHO of course.

Welcome to the reality the right has been trying to get you to understand since Johnson created The Great Society so he'd have "those ******s voting Democrat for the next 50 years". You'll still vote for them, of course, still too brainwashed about how evil conservatives (that whole hand up instead of a hand out has been painted as the ultimate evil) to do otherwise. Hopefully it won't take another couple of decades for you realize how seriously they've completely ****ed up the lives of black people. And you've all seen (and participated in) the vicious treatment and vile name calling heaped on black conservatives.

At least there's a bit of an awakening because they've shifted their pandering to illegal aliens and basically kicked you guys to the curb. In California they even have illegals serving in high profile positions in government. When was the last time they went into the hood and plucked any of your poor brothers and sisters out and helped them into government service. Sure, there are black members serving in government but they've joined the elite whites and no longer relate to you (if they ever did). Hillary is damaged goods, I agree. But Slow Joe? They guy's never done anything before in a presidential run, and being VP hasn't elevated him that much. Besides, he's from Delaware which pulls no regional demographic into the race that's on the fence. If anything, they'll groom O'Malley for 2020 by making him the VP nominee.

Besides, if the Hill-bots have even the slightest inclination that the Dem party or Dear Leader has knee-capped her again, there's goes a whole bunch of the women vote. Women aren't like AA's, they aren't stuck on the plantation. They'll vote for someone else out of spite, or not vote at all. No. no. no. Last time was her turn and it was taken away. But there's no question the jug-eared Kenyan wants to destroy her.

He has a hell of a lot of tools and she has a hell of a lot of weaknesses.
