Well, it looks as if Bob's cerebral degeneration proceeds apace.
Not being a physician, I can't guess how much longer Bob has in this time and place, but assume it's far less time than the big guy in Bellevue or Wills the William769 primitive or franksolich, all of us being terminal.
And so it's time for Bob to make peace with himself, which is usually done by returning to one's roots, resurrecting those things that sustained and nourished one at the dawn of life.
Bob's a lapsed Catholic, and so probably it'd be a good thing if he returned to that before it's too late. He needs to go see a priest pronto and admit that he's been angry and bitter and resentful and hate-filled most of his life.....and has finally come to realize, while on the precipice of eternity, that a Hell of a lot of good that did him, being that way.
One hopes he does it before it's too late. For Bob, time's running out at the speed of light.
