DUmmies like gays who lockstep with them. If any go out of line, they lose their identity.

Made you look but a GOP senator did say this

guess who?

I'll wait while the ice caps all melt and this snowball

OK....... clue over

GOP Sen. Inhofe: A Lot of My Gay Friends Think SCOTUS Decision Was Bad

In reaction to the Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriages across all 50 states, Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) pulled the “some of my friends are gay” card, but not in the way you’d normally expect.

“I’ve been disappointed, and I was not surprised. I thought they would rule the way they did,” Inhofe told Tulsa’s CBS-affiliated KOTV. “I know a lot of people, actually a lot of people who are friends of mine in the gay community, who also think it was a bad decision,” he added in the clip first spotted by BuzzFeed News reporter Andrew Kaczynski

There are many gays against gay marriage.

22. You could even leave out the gay part and it still wouldn't be true.

16. My guess:

In another 10 years, this would have happened on its own. There are already more millennials than baby boomers, and they are more open to freedom.

But, by this ruling "forcing" this on everyone it's going to whip up anti-gay sentiment and make some people less likely to accept the idea.
Yet, DU lacks Millennials. You told them to leave. No?

21. Inhofe's gay freinds have Stockholm Syndrome.

So, now you hate gays?

33. GOP Sen. Inhofes "gay friends".Why are 'friends' ashamed to stand by his side & speak for themself?

at least GOP Sen. Inhofe uses the word 'gay', instead of the, republican-conservative 1950s word, homosexual.
Homosexual and gay are the same thing. It is a not a slur.

DUmb****, homosexual is the correct name for a person who is sexually attracted exclusively to members of the same sex.

But Ill be happy to call them cocksuckers, butt pirates, and clamdiggers. I certainly wouldn't want there to be any confusion on your part.

8. He's an idiot, but

On an unrelated note, one couple I'm friends with are absolutely ecstatic and can't wait to get married, but another couple I'm friends with just split after the SCOTUS ruling. It turns out one wanted more than anything to be married and the other just played along with the idea. Now that it's possible, he told him no. My friend who wanted to get married now feels his ex was using the law as an excuse. Anyways, I hope he finds someone who can appreciate him and respect him enough to be honest and open. I know it had to be horrible waiting for this ruling with so much anticipation and excitement, then to have your world crushed by the one you love the same day.

11. At least now he knows and isn't living with a lie.

But I'm sorry he's in pain. Marriage isn't for everyone, straight or gay.

How come so many replies in this thread are expressions of disbelief that Inhofe could really have any gay friends but when primitive Quackers--who is a primitive and therefore a notorious liar--starts claiming to have a bunch of gay friends, nobody bats an eye?

A perfect description of a lib/DUmmie/primitive.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Good luck with that given that their are estimates that up to 75% of queer relationships are open in a different sense.

I do not know. Could it be they saw what happened to anyone who is against the gay-genda and did not want their life destroyed over a difference of opinion?

It's so cute how they throw that word around like they know what it means.

That thread just oozes tunnel-visioned fantasy-world stereotypes!

DU folk can't imagine homosexuals being conservative? (BTW, my, possibly incorrect, understanding of current usage is that "gay" refers specifically to male homosexuals)

DU folk can't imagine conservatives having friends who are homosexuals.

DU folk think nearly all homosexuals who advocated for same-sex marriage did so because they wanted to get married (or for their homosexual friends to be able to).

In the case of the latter stereotype, DU-folk will very soon discover - and be ecstatic - that many who advocated for same-sex marriage were really working to fashion a weapon for attacking Christians and Christian churches - the ones who believe and follow the Bible, not the ones who have been their dupes.

They really are foolish. Libertarian sites are littered with gay both men and women who would have preferred the gov be taken out of all marriages all together and replaced with legal contracts like civil unions leaving marriage in the spiritual sense to be as a couple wishes according to thier beliefs. I'm going out on a limb here that the senator given his political persuasion is more apt to include in his aquaintances just such homosexuals because of thier similar viewpoints on certain things. I'll also speculate as another stated these same more libertarian leaning gays are loathe to come out because of the relentless intolerance and bullying of fellow gays and thier skittles brigade of useful bandwagon idiots who wouldn't know constitutional concerns if it came tattooed to thier bodies.
