I believe the WBC would be a prime candidate to disrupt gay wedding services. The same WBC who supported Al Gore for President, the same Al Gore that Phelps, Sr. said "Gore looked us in the eye and gave us assurance, that, based on his Bible beliefs, he was against the homosexual agenda and the killing of babies.". The same WBC that had Fred Phelps, Jr. running for Governor of Kansas in the Democratic primary in 1990, winning over 11,000 votes and placing third, as one of its members in good standing.

Sounds like the Democrats are more likely to disrupt gay marriages than the GOP DUmbasses.

I remember homosexuals crashing regular religious services making all kinds of hoopla in the late 1980s/early 1990s. But, of course, if it didn't happen this morning a primitive will not remember it.

Well, it turns out Flip Benham isn't entirely obscure. It's probably too nuanced - and too much the opposite of their POV - but it looks like he's done some good things, and some rather stupid things. I'd consider picketing the courthouse where a same-sex "marriage"was being performed to be one of the latter.
