So, a member of your least-favorite race killed 9 members of your second-favorite race. What a bonanza of self-righteous indignation for you DUmmies, who have appointed yourselves Official Advocates of Black Persons. Before you dislocated your
shoulders patting yourselves on the back, and before Big Gay Randy and MohRokTah or whatever have grand mal race seizures, let me ask you all a few questions. Not that I expect answers, mind you: your latest emissary is too scared to utter any more than a "LOL" when challenged:
1. You're indignant that this is "terrorism." All right: suppose we all finally agree with you, and we call it domestic terrorism. Then what? Are you sure you thought this through? Your current ersatz male President has made a shambles of anti-terrorism tactics and strategy. If he applied his anti-terror zeal to "domestic terrorists," wouldn't we then have an American version of ISIS? Wouldn't Josh Earnest go on camera and admit that President Chucklenuts has no strategy to deal with this "domestic terrorism?"
2. Suppose you get your wish and we go to "war" against "domestic terrorists" like this kid in SC. So far his defining characteristic is that he took SSRIs and had violent, antisocial outbursts. Don't you think that using those criteria to target
American "terrorists" with drones might, you know, include the (roughly) 75% of you on the same meds?
3. In any case, you howl, this is racism, and as Official Advocates of Black Persons, you are, like, angry. Racism must be
worse than murder to you all, at least by an order of magnitude. I say this because according to redeyechicago, 26 black men have been murdered in the Chicago area in the month of June 2015, and not one byte of outrage has been posted about it on
DU. What a reasonable person may infer is that the murder of black people is perfectly fine with you, so long as another black person does it. But when a WHITE man does it? Why, that's not just murder: that's RACIST murder. But from your silence about the wholesale slaughter of black people in large cities across the US, murder is irrelevant. What you really find odious is not the taking of a life, but the idea that someone might harbor a RACIAL motive. Were I a black person, I would regard your advocacy somewhat askance. Which is a nice way of calling you the bullshitters that you are.
4. Counterfactuals in politics are always difficult, but come on. Let's be honest. These black people were killed in a church, which somehow to you amplifies the heinousness of the crime. I agree that it was inexcusably heinous, but if those 9 people were white and if the killer was black, wouldn't DU call the victims "fundies," and wouldn't Big Gay Randy or valerief make a veiled reference to them deserving it somehow? I cannot reconcile your reverence for the beliefs of black people and the utter contempt you have for the equal beliefs of white people. I'm not too bothered, however, because you can't reconcile it either, other than to say that one group is good and the other is bad. You DUmmies have members who on the same day will gleefully refer to the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" yet also pour honorifics on Martin Luther King. Oh, wait: REVEREND DOCTOR Martin Luther King, Jr. My mistake (psst - his PhD, which you hold sacrosanct, is in THEOLOGY. You know...the study of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.)
5. You have moved on the "privilege" of the white killer, as he was taken away peacefully, while Eric Garner was "murdered" by the police. Of course, had Garner OBEYED the police like this kid did, he'd be alive and grifting today. If this kid lifted that .45 on the cops, I assure you he'd have been well-ventilated in seconds. Whenever a fleeing criminal of ANY stripe threatens police and they use lethal tactics, you are very quick to take note, white or black. So now that the cops DIDN'T murder the kid, that's an expression of "privilege?" Hang on: you routinely howl that black men are far overrepresented in prisons and jails. How can that be, when according to you, they're all killed by police before they're charged? We know the answer, but for you I'm sure it's a Zen Paradox.
6. You want to ban a flag over this tragedy? Exactly what would that accomplish? Not only can it be replicated with ease, but it is far from clear that these murders were done in the name of any flag. If banning the Confederate flag would be a symbolic victory, for whom would that be? How many Chicago, Baltimore, LA, or DC murders are committed in the name of the Confederate flag? Under your logic, shouldn't blue and red bandanas be outlawed as well? Or are those...wait for it...expressions of FREE SPEECH?
7. One DUmmy went as far as to apologize to the black race on behalf of the white race. If you feel the need to apologize to black people for anything, I would encourage you to apologize for enslaving them with government handouts since LBJ. In any event, I didn't authorize anyone to speak on my behalf, thank you very much.
8. You completely dismiss mental illness as a cause for this heinous act, possibly because the lot of you are so acquainted with mental illness that your superior knowledge may just confer authority. Even so, a quick glance at the particulars makes obvious that this was a hate crime aided by mental illness, which was badly controlled by many of the same drugs that you all take and wish were cheaper so you could take more. As for violent tendencies, I refer you to one William Pitt. I reckon that he's only avoided homicide charges due to his relative seclusion: he has, after all, threatened to kill a homeless woman. There is another thread today in which many of you describe homicidal fantasies, starting with the person who tampered with Tylenol. You know full well this kid is mentally ill, just like many of you are, just like many of you brag about.
