What I wanted to say is, you know when you're a kid, they tell you it's all... grow up. Get a job. Get married. Get a house. Have a kid, and that's it. The truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It's so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.--Elton Pope

1,000 Miles various clips of Rose and two Doctors:

Do you know like we were saying, about the earth revolving? It's like when you're a kid, the first time they tell you that the world is turning and you just can't quite believe it 'cause everything looks like it's standing still. I can feel it...the turn of the earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour. The entire planet is hurtling around the sun at sixty seven thousand miles an hour. And I can feel it. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world. And, if we let go...That's who I am. Now forget me, Rose Tyler. Go home.--The Doctor

Hence, this new device. It's called a randomizer, and it's fitted to the guidance systems and operates under a very complex scientific principle called pot luck. No one knows where we're going, not even the Black Guardian. --The Doctor

Allegretto (Karl Jenkins, the De Beers music)

And it was, it was beautiful. They used to call it the Shining World of the Seven Systems. And on the continent of Wild Endeavour, in the mountains of Solace and Solitude, there stood the Citadel of the Time Lords. The oldest and most mighty race in the universe. Looking down on the galaxies below, sworn never to interfere, only to watch. Children of Gallifrey were taken from their families at the age of eight to enter the Academy. Some say that's where it all began, when he was a child. That's when the Master saw eternity. As a novice, he was taken for initiation. He stood in front of the Untempered Schism. It's a gap in the fabric of reality through which could be seen the whole of the vortex. We stand there, eight years old, staring at the raw power of time and space, just a child. Some would be inspired. Some would run away. And some would go mad. --The Doctor, The Sound of Drums

Brilliant!  Thanks for posting, I'd been told about it but never went and actually looked.

Be well!

Oh, and two embed, there is a little film strip looking thing on the bottom row of icons with a black Y and a white T surrounded by red, highlight the link and click on that.

The Doctor: If you are the Beast, then answer me this: Which one? Because the universe has been busy since you've been gone. There are more religions than there are planets in the sky. The Arkiphetes, quoldonity, christianity, pash-pash, new judaism, Saint Claar, Church of the Teen Vagabond. Which devil are you?

The Beast: All of them.

The only losers are those who think they are.

Always only employ the following axiom when trying to determine such things: What I think of myself, whether it is good or bad, is always absolutely 100% true.  What others think of me is none of my business irregardless of if it is good or bad.

Any other criteria leads down a very dark and terrifying path.

So only ever think well of yourself.

You see, you can't please everyone so you've got to please yourself. --Ricky Nelson, Garden Party
