The Pauper President Steps Down
« on: March 01, 2015, 02:33:51 PM »

Taking his wife and dog for a spin in the presidential limousine.

Whatever your own particular "shade" of politics, it's impossible not to be impressed or beguiled by Jose "Pepe" Mujica.

Nice story @ http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-31679475

I thought maybe you were talking about Clinton. Hitlery said they were broke and far in debt when they left the Presidency.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Poor things. They only had a few paltry millions - not enough to buy a house.   :bird:

I was trying to find where to post this.  Its about money & riches & good for thee, not for me.

- In 2012 Congress passed the Stock Act, "a bill meant to curb insider trading for lawmakers & their staff."
- When the SEC initiated an investigation into insider trading, "Congress moved to block the inquiry."

I always wondered if books & speaking engagements were enough to keep politicians happy.  Apparently not.
