Emanuel Trying To Raid Indiana Firms Over Religious Freedom Law

Source: TPM

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) is looking to capitalize on the outrage over Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) signing a controversial religious freedom law and raid some jobs for his city and state.

Emanuel sent letters to a dozen Indiana based companies criticizing the law and urging them to move their headquarters to Illinois and Chicago in particular, according to Crain's Chicago Business.

In the letter Emanuel writes that Pence's move is "wrong for the people of Indiana, wrong for the individuals who face new discrimination, and wrong for a state seeking to grow its economy."

"I am writing to urge you to consider Chicago as a place to move and grow your business," Emanuel continued. "Our great city's work force, infrastructure and customer base are unparalleled, which is why the Chicago region is home to more than 30 Fortune 500 companies and the city has been ranked the number one city for corporate relocations for two years running."

I thought the libs hated corporations and the associated 1%ers.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I was thinking "hell-hole", but @#$%hole works, too.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

With Illinois' taxes and Chicago's layered on top, along with the corruption and crime issues?  Money would have to mean nothing to them, and making a pointless gesture to please the Gays and Progs everything.  Not that there aren't a few companies that fit that description, but most of them are located in Kalifornistan or coastal Washington/Oregon.

This originally was told about Detroit, but I figure it'd fit Chicago also.

Jack was sitting on the plane when a guy
took the seat beside him. The guy was an
emotional wreck, pale, hands shaking,
moaning in fear.

"What's the matter?" Jack asked.

"I've been transferred to Chicago, there's
crazy people there. They've got lots of
shootings, gangs, race riots, drugs,
poor public schools, and the highest
crime rate."

Jack replied, "I've lived in Chicago all my life.
It's not as bad as the media says. Find a
nice home, go to work, mind your own
business, enroll your kids in a nice private
school.

It's as safe a place as anywhere in the world."

The guy relaxed and stopped shaking and said,
"Oh, thank you. I've been worried to death.
But if you live there and say it's OK, I'll take your
word for it. What do you do for a living?"

"Me?" said Jack. "I'm a tail gunner on a Budweiser truck."

If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

I thought the libs hated corporations and the associated 1%ers.

Only when doing so is convenient for them.

"Our great city's work force, infrastructure and customer base are unparalleled,"
Also unparalleled are its corruption in every major office, mafia influence, union thuggery, and crime in general. Chicago's also notable for the fact that, even though its school teachers are among the best paid in the country, its schools (Especially public schools) are among the WORST in the country in every sense (i.e. only a very, very small percentage of Chicago's fourth- graders are able to read at a fourth- grade level).

If I were Pence I would be striking back at the companies that the Gaystapo has intimidated.

1. No more state of Indiana government buying of anything Apple. NONE.
2. Any NASCAR events now have a new special tax.
3. Might have the state AG look into all the claims of Angie's List writing their own reviews.
4. Not to mention a sales tax audit for Apple, NASCAR, and other companies just because it was their time.

Those companies need Indiana a lot more than Indiana needs those companies. Is it wrong to fight fire with fire? Not anymore.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Always conveniently so it seems.
