Texas Muslim student who said WHITE racist threatened her with a GUN admits it was all a HOAX

It's always a 'white' racist doing these terrible things to peaceful muslims!

Someone should tell this pos that Islam is not a race and being half black myself, I reserve the rights to using the 'race' card!

A UT-Arlington student who claimed she was threatened at gunpoint on campus this week admitted Friday that she’d lied, a university spokeswoman said.

The student told police she hadn’t even been at the school the day she said the incident occurred.

UT-Arlington had been investigating the complaint with Arlington, Denton and University of North Texas police, school spokeswoman Kristen Sullivan said.

Officials have not released the student’s name, and it was unclear Friday night whether she would be charged with filing a false police report.

The Muslim student told police she was followed by the man for six miles before reaching campus. The man who followed her was driving a white Ford pickup with a Texas flag on the antenna.

The student could not be reached for comment.

From the Dallas Morning News article linked in the "The Right Scoop" piece, I'm going to guess that this was the factoid that undid her :

When the student parked her car about 9:15 a.m. in Lot 49 at South Cooper and West Mitchell streets, she said, the suspect got out of his truck, yelled a threat and pointed a gun at her. Afterward, the man left the scene.

Many parking lots have security cameras, and my guess is that a check of the footage revealed that she had not been there at or near the time she claimed she was. Gotcha!

Officials have not released the student’s name, and it was unclear Friday night whether she would be charged with filing a false police report.

Unless that uncertainty is due to the hoax being outed late Friday, this uncertainty is inexcusable. Not only should be charged with filing a false report, but if there are multiple "grades" of the crime, she should be charged with the highest grade.

That's what's weirding me out. No sane person (IMO) would claim that there are zero racists in the US, but it seems like just about every incident of claimed racism (or gay-bashing, for that matter) has turned out to be a reverse-racism hoax. WTH! Haven't those fools ever heard about The Boy Who Cried Wolf? I'll guaran-damn-tee real racists have, and they are licking their chops at the prospect of being able to get away with racist violence because the hoaxes have made true reports of racial violence non-credible.
