The First Hollywood Movie to Kill Obama
Jen Yamato

Kingsman: The Secret Service features a big movie first in the vein of The Interview, and comes courtesy of President Obama’s biggest critic: Rupert Murdoch. (Warning: Spoilers)

British action-adventure Kingsman: The Secret Service features Colin Firth as a dapper, tailored super spy, Samuel L. Jackson as an evil billionaire with a Russell Simmons lisp, and slick shenanigans that’d make James Bond jealous. It also boasts a controversial moment that rivals the explosive, hacker-baiting money shot that earned Sony’s The Interview the ire of North Korea.

(Warning: Spoilers ahead.)

In a sequence that should get tongues wagging at distributor 20th Century Fox’s sister network Fox News (also owned by Rupert Murdoch), the cheeky comic book movie from Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn makes history—not for reinventing the spy genre, but for being the first major studio film to kill President Barack Obama.

Loosely adapted from Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ comic book, Kingsman follows a street-smart London lad (Taron Egerton) who joins a top secret spy agency housed in a Savile Row haberdashery and must save the world from a Google Glass-wearing supervillain named Valentine (Jackson).

Valentine, you see, is a disillusioned eco-philanthropist with a drastic plan to solve overpopulation: First, give free cellphones to the masses. Next, trigger a homicide-inducing subliminal frequency from the safety of a mountaintop bunker and sit back and watch as the population exterminates itself.

First time I have heard this about the movie KINGSMAN. All I heard before was a movie about the making of spies...the 007 type.

But then again here we go with the DU take on the movie:

1. Thanks again, Citizens' United.

etc.

Assassination: The Movie.

(not literally Citizens' United. This is political, but not campaign related, as was Hillary: The Movie)

BTW, I'm thinking of writing a screenplay where this RW guy who owns a lot of media ---

You know, sometimes, I just have to catch myself before their evil becomes contagious.

I think you fail to catch yourself....

This closely resembles Stephen King's book "Cell". I'm in the process of re-reading that book....I heard they are making a movie based on it.

"Cell" synopsis...

The next call you take could be your last in this terrifying #1 New York Times bestseller by Stephen King.

WHERE WERE YOU ON OCTOBER 1ST AT 3:03 P.M.?

Graphic artist Clay Riddell was in the heart of Boston on that brilliant autumn afternoon when hell was unleashed before his eyes. Without warning, carnage and chaos reigned. Ordinary people fell victim to the basest, most animalistic destruction.

And the apocalypse began with the ring of a cell phone....

Shit. I was hoping American Sniper would be the biggest blockbuster of this year.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

There was a Charles Bronson movie back in the 70's involving Russian sleeper agents who were triggered by code words spoken to them over the phone, it was called Telefon.

I'm guessing that the president killed in the movie is not named Obama, but is a black president so they assume it must be Obama.  They know that Obama is such a crappy president, that Americans won't elect another black liberal.

Sounds a lot like what the hard-over Prog eco-activists believe as an article of faith, but leave unstated in their propaganda, for obvious reasons.  I do like the twist of using the Obamaphones as the instrument of destruction, I must say, definitely a good 'Evil overlord' gambit.

I'm planning on seeing 'Kingsman' tomorrow, as part of my birthday celebration, if I have the time. Looks really good, and has been getting pretty favorable reviews.
How much you want to bet DUmmies complaining about this were the same ones loudly cheering on the film 'Death of a President' (2006 phony documentary about what would happen if then- President Bush were assassinated in office) when it was released?

Yes indeed. The overwhelming majority of liberal eco- freaks aren't pro- nature anywhere near as much as they are anti- humanity. Just look at the vile "Voluntary human extinction movement."
Plus, you don't see too many ecoterrorist- type villains in movies, TV shows, etc., in spite of how truly demented most radical environmentalists (The ones that people like the DUmmies portray as noble heroes "Defending Mother Earth") are.

And the dummies were all ecstatic when someone made a movie where GW Bush was assassinated. Shoe is on the other foot now, dummies.

Don't spazz out DUmmies, it isn't Barry depicted in the movie, it's an unnamed fictional U.S. President--not a real one like Abe Lincoln who was killed by the POS democrat John Wilkes Booth.
