There's going to be a lot of shouting over this, because a whole lot of people can't seem to grasp one simple fact: Castro won this fight. He outmaneuvered every American president he faced, repelled an invasion attempt, thwarted serial attempts to undermine his government, and even survived a flurry of ham-fisted CIA assassination attempts.

Is he a nice guy? No.

Did he win? Yes.

Get over it. It's done.

I suspect he will piss off a bunch of Free Cubans with this.  Like the Muzzy, and, Israelis, they have very long memories.   Were I he, I would make sure my security detail was happy, happy, happy (and well armed).  Then too, the Ruskies are none to fond of Barry either.

Lots of different Cubans.

The ones who came over in the 60s hate Castro, and anyone who befriends him, as much as Jews hate Hitler.
They are among the most loyal, hardworking, Communist-hating Americans you'll ever find. I've known a bunch of them. Most of their children fit the same description.

The hundred thousand or so who came over in the Mariel exodus in 1980, when Castro thumbed his nose at Carter, were criminal sociopaths who, if they're living and not in prison, are sure democrat votes.

You can be certain the jug-eared Kenyan is looking at Cuba exactly like Mexico: a vast reservoir of untapped democrat votes just waiting for a way to get here and sign up for benefits. Another boatlift and he can make Florida a solid blue state.

I think Obama's move is partly to befriend potential future Democrats in the future, however, I suspect the immediate desire is to stoke up a good ole'-fashioned race war that he can then quell with more government intervention.

I watched a movie that was made by some man that escaped from there.  It is appalling how those people live over there.  Obama is probably jealous of how Castro's people cower.

Well it's been an eventful few weeks for the jug-eared muslim.

He sided with thug criminals against law enforcement.

He threw open the border for mexicans and central americans to swarm in and onto the welfare rolls.

He capitulated to the communists in Cuba, conceding American honor, even suggesting a visit.

He stood by while a third-world dictatorship launched cyberwar against an American industry.

A couple of years ago, I doubted he could ever replace Jimmeh Carter as the worst President in history.

Now there's no competition. He's the nadinbrzezhinski of Presidents, and it's becoming a tragedy.

All enemies foreign and domestic.
