What is your one wish for the New Year?
If by wishing for it or protesting it the most this up coming year. What is the one thing you want to see Congress give to the 99%?
Is it universal health care? (I know some people who make too much to get government help for paying and make too little to have it without sacrificing something else.)
Congress passing reform of some sort for the out of control police bullies we have now at days.
My personal desire. A raise in the min wage.

All we will see next year is bill after bill trying to tear apart everything the republicans hate, and thats everything that president Obama has accomplished since being elected, and contrary to what some on DU say, he "has" accomplished a lot.
The only way to accomplish things, such as higher wages, is to do it a the state level. People need to get out and protes for higher wages, and get it on state ballots so the people can vote on it. If people vote for it, will win.

12. My first hope would be for world peace but for the most bang for a dollar would be to raise the minimum wage increase, it would help the lowest paid and have more dollars to put back into the ecomony.

13. Nuremberg type trials for war crimes for our previous administration and that we as a nation acknowledge our crimes against our First Nation people and those brought here as slaves. We need to find a way to make reparations to them. We cannot move forward until we make right our past transgressions. Any spiritual leader from any religion will tell you the same.

yes, a raise in the minimum wage would be great for the country. But, I don't think that most of those "in charge" are going to let that happen. Too selfish and greedy. Therefore, I am sitting now in a spot where i almost WANT the repubs to keep doing their crap. They are going to make such an even bigger mess that no one can deny it. THEN they will lose power and popularity and the general population will come to their senses and never vote them in power again!
