Prediction: Lack of Repub enthusiasm cracks the Dem door open for a great day, if we turn out..
Fact: Republicans do not have a tidal wave of momentum in this midterm the way they had the Tea Party momentum in 2010.
I think most DU'ers would agree that the loyal base-type Repub voter will likely turn out. With changing demographics, it will take more than the loyal base to win elections in most swing districts. Democrats have an opening here. Repubs have left the door cracked open because of the decline in real momentum, the way they had TP momentum in 2010.
This isn't 2010! FFS this is NOT 2010!
There is a real opening here for a Dem 'upset' tomorrow/today, if Dems turn out. Remember, many of these races will come down to a 1% margin of victory or less. If Repub turnout isn't as strong as 2010, I don't think Repubs are going to do as well as the media portrays.
I think Dems are poised to pull an upset if our turnout is solid.
Are Dem candidates under-represented in modern political polling?
It is impossible to not know that there is an election tomorrow, with the nauseating level of political ads on TV, I think Dem turnout will be better than expected. Unless you live under a rock..
Inducing nausea just may get Dem voters off their ass and to the polls today.
Could Repubs have their own turnout problems to deal with today/tomorrow?
Will it open the door for Dems? I really do believe that it will.
Don't face tomorrow with doom and gloom. Be happy, we can change stuff tomorrow. I'm predicting a Dem upset and that Repubs will be the ones crying tomorrow night.

1. I hope you are right.
I live in Minnesota and everyone I want to win on the local and state level is probably going to win. I really hope it goes as well for Democrats in other states.
Turns out... not so much. Moving on:

2. I'm glad Mn has re-found its ability to elect Dems.
After the Pawlenty years.
Here's to a great day tomorrow/today!
Thanks! I really enjoyed myself today.

3. Well, Republicans' fear of "the left" whether over taking away guns,
killing babies via Planned Parenthood, or whatever outrage-of-the-day was on Fox News/Mark Levin/Glenn Beck/Breitbart should be enough motivation to vote even for a RINO because of opposing "THE LEFT". I think I'll slightly disagree.

5. We need those Gov races
If we can win even a few of the Gov races, we can begin to dismantle the voter ID-voter suppression laws. That will bee a huge, huge difference going into 2016. If all Obama does in his last 2 years is exercise his arm vetoing BS GOP bills, well that is also OK.
Right now you dipshits are sitting at 14 governor seats after tonight, with not even enough left to call to get you out of the teens.
Dwell on that for a minute, why don't you?

6. Yes, State offices are every bit as important..
perhaps, even more important than fed elections because these bigoted voter ID laws happen at the state level.
You brought up some very important points!
DUmmie tears are so sweet.
