Anecdotal note at the polls in deep East Texas

with a town makeup of over 51% black.

For the FIRST time ever...there was a majority of black people at the polls when I went.

There were 15 people in the polling place when I went and 12 of them were black.
I was joking with one lady in line and we were both like "if the best we can do is cancel out someone else's vote...then we did good"...

I so hope we turn this state blue...will be watching closely tonight.

Why did you even count the racial makeup of who was voting?

The true racists, once again, have proven to be in the Democrat party.

Now for my racist report.

When I went to vote today, the poll was run mostly by blacks.....not the usual collection of my relatives.....only my first cousin was white. The rest were black women. They had a "Greeter" at the door, that's new. There were 3 or 4 blacks ahead of me and 3 or 4 behind voting. Only one white poll watcher and 3 black ones.....I don't think that's going to be a good sign for me.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

My racist bouncy from voting today:

There was one BLACK man who took my DRIVERS LICENSE to check to see if I was on the voting list. I was. Then there were two white WOMEN who took my name, made me sign that I was in fact me then gave me the code for the voting machine.

I had to wait about 5 minutes, everyone in there that were actually voting were white. Some were even white MEN. I'm positive everyone in there were voting conservative by the fact that they were white and didn't look like granola hippies.

It's hard to get excited about an election when the Bellevue big guy isn't on the ballot.

Since he's terminal, I guess we've seen the last of his amazing campaigns.

He'll still try to vote (in true Dem fashion).

He'll have an easier time of it after that sweet chariot swings low for his worthless ass.

I'd have guessed mid- to high- thirties, personally.  I just can't see that many Texans that she might resonate with.
