Will the Republicans' deliberate obstruction win them control of Congress?

We read the American people are tired of Congress not getting anything done. Will they unwittingly go to the polls and put the people who have caused all the obstruction in charge?

Will the plan hatched by the Republicans the night Barack Obama was sworn into office finally succeed?

Or, will the American people figure out their duplicitous game?

We will soon see.

1. Or was it the redistricting of 2010? That's when they drew maps that gave them control. We the people are screwn.

2. They've ckeverly exploited the cognitive dissonance that seems to characterize many American voters. People understand that government has come to a virtual standstill but are unsure as to whom to blame. Since the Democrats are in power (Obama, Senate), it seems logical that they are to blame for the standstill. Voters will accordingly punish the uncooperative Democrats by voting in Rethuglicans. Rinse and repeat.

3. When Pres. Obama was elected and the repugs started the obstruction I thought...the electorate couldn't be that stupid..........we will see, but I think they are that stupid. I do know the republicans think they are.

7. not so much a matter of stupidity when the republicans control the microphones.

i sometimes flip around the radio dial during my commute. just from my random anecdotal sampling, there are maybe 5-10 times as many republican/anti-democratic ads as there are democratic/anti-republican ads.

and this is in connecticut, hardly a right-wing bastion.

people clearly should be far more engaged and aware, but it's kinda hard to find fault with the people when the playing field is so lopsided.

I guess the outcome depends on how many Dems and indies vote, and how many votes Republicans are able to steal or suppress.

Let's see.  The House has sent, like, 900 bills to the Senate for a vote.  Those bills have received not a moment of consideration, all being in Harry Reid's "Dead On Arrival" file.

I think you DUmmies know the truth but, you are vainly hoping to lie about who are the "obstructionist" long enough and loud enough that it becomes the trurh by default.

For the smartest people in the whole entire world they sure don't know business very well.

Hey, unblock, you do understand the reason you're hearing more right wing ads than left wing ads is because you're in a liberal hell hole and the Republicans are trying to get a toe hold, right?  When you have the best selling product on the market you don't run a lot of ads.  It's when you are NOT the best selling product on the market that you must run ads.

Something similar going on here, the TV stations take in a lot of northwestern Arkansas in their viewing area, so we are seeing about four Pryor ads for every Cotton ad, and Pryor is still not getting anywhere with it.

Yeah, you can kind of get a feel for who is worried and who is not by how many ads you see/hear.  Hell, if I'm so far up front I don't have much worry, why would I spend my money on ads?  Yeah, I'm going to keep my name out there but that's about it.

I see and hear a lot of stuff about Wendy Davis but Greg Abbott is really just keeping his name out there.  He's not doing the stupid shit Wendy is doing.  The funny thing is, the harder she tries, the farther behind she's getting.
