Canadian Parliament gets shot up one day...
...and they are back to work the next.

6. They interrupted the regular programming here to talk about it and show footage.

The pics of the police going in and the gunfire were repeated several times.

They shot and killed the guy so it's all over but the postmortem. Harper addressed the nation, they'll do the usual restrospective pieces on TV and in the papers, and that's that. One stop shopping at this link:

11. Harper went with his wife to lay a wreath at the war memorial where the victim was killed,

and they arrested some other guy for trying to breach the crime scene tape.

They aren't messing around!
