I have never seen any such post on any Conservative board.

We just take it as a given we are smarter.  We don't kvetch to try to convince ourselves we are.

Except that it has the opposite sign: that is, identifying with the Tea Party correlates positively (r = 0.05, p = 0.05) with scores on the science comprehension measure:

Again, (D)Umbasses?  Those of us that actually are smart don't really feel the need to post anonymously on message boards about our real, or in your case, imagined intelligence.  You are called "primitives" for a reason.  Maintaining a "C" average in Gender Studies courses does not equate to intelligence.  It equates to the drive-up window, asshat.

Why don't you discuss that Yale professors' findings?

I've worked in the branch of applied physics commonly called electronics for over 35 years. Based on observations over that time, these "studies" are absurd and moronic. And then there's the inferiority-complex-driven folk who need these "studies" to confirmed their fantasies of intellectual superiority ...
