Your town's a pretty tiny town; how can they afford to send you way down to Texas?

The town here's eight times larger than your town, but every time the county sheriff (no local law-enforcement) has to take somebody to jail forty miles away (as this county doesn't have a jail), it causes a major discombobulation in the law-enforcement budget.
