Cartoon Boy Atman Outrages Stoners And Klams
« on: June 30, 2014, 01:43:57 PM »
The permanently unemployed Atman McGrath can't win for losing.

The Ku Klux Klams and the stoners are after his scalp.

Now, if he can piss off the queers, he'll have a DUmp hat trick:

Okay, if you don't want to deal with Hobby Lobby, check out NPR.

They're dealing with the pros and cons of Colorado's legalized pot. Very interesting. Looking at it from every angle, warts and all. 10,000 new jobs, and $17 million in taxes in just four months.

Big question though (people have actually od'd) is how do you know the THC level of your week? Seems like the next frontier...THC-purity testing services, same as the way you test your pool water or soil acidity. Remember, you heard it hear first.

1. What are you on about?

No one has ever OD'd from weed. It has no established LD50.

2. What proof do they have of an OD

There has never been any proof of an OD and the reason for this is that there are no cannabinoid receptors in the medulla oblongata.

3. Okay, Hobbenstein and RaidDog, listen closely...

I said the show was interesting. Maybe you should have listened to it.

But I admire you for your indignant outrage. Not really.

4. For real? Hobby Lobby is something people just ought not "deal with"

and it's bothering you that people are "dealing" "with" it?

6. Just three replies and already DU has gone surreal.

The first two replies have no relationship to my OP...neither of them even bothered to listen to the program.

Then you, who took my suggestion that maybe if you'd had enough of the 150 Hobby Lobby threads, here was something else interesting out there. And you think it means it means it "bothers" me that people are "dealing" with it? Holy shit. This place has lost it.

No it doesn't.  Won't affect pro-life women.  If you want to take the morning after pill, go buy one at the pharmacy or go to planned parenthood, they will give it to you free.

Nope, doesn't affect me either.  I am not in any market for an abortifacient.  Paid for by me or anyone else.

And why oh why can't they distinguish between "woman" and "women"?  It's really getting on my nerves.

Atman is right about one thing.  150 separate threads about this topic is idiotic and unnecessary.  Why don't we have that problem?

It won't affect my wife--at all. :yahoo:

Here's the thing... whether you are for abortion or against it, since when did the government or insurance companies pay for them? Everyone I ever knew of who had one (in college) had to scramble to find the money.

Last time I checked the cost of an abortion was very close to a years supply of the pill.   My insurance will cover tube tying, an IUD, and those do-hickeys that are placed under the skin for slow release and last 5 years.

I have met , really, woman that brag they have taken their 15 year old daughters down to get the do-hickeys implanted in their daughters arms. Not a bad idea really when one sees the young girls with all the face piercings and tattoos.

Next step is a shot to prevent STD's for both male and female.     Then on to the never never land of male contraception.   When science can come up with a pill to allow males to get it on, there has to be a pill to ensure the act will not result in a pregnancy with the wrong person.
