Evidence for this, climate change. Yes, there see people in other countries that deny it is happening. They even make the same arguments...god promised...argle bargle. But, they are not the leaders of the government. Ours are. Greed is part of it. K street is part of it, but pride in insularity and ignorance is also part of it. And while they scream...job lost, not happening, liars, science is a lie. Remember they are costing your children and grand children nothing short of a decent quality of life. Worst case, we might be on our way to extinction... Suffice to say to see the US from outside in, is always a fascinating exercise...and this trip it was not different.

I agree, but I think it has more to do with the propaganda and lies we are told since the media was taken over by those who have so much to gain by keeping the population ignorant. I don't think people are stupid, but they are emotional especially regarding their country, and that gets used to emotionally manipulate them. It is also the reason who those who are pulling the strings absolutely detest the 'Left' in this country as they are the most vocal usually in exposing the lies. Not to say there are none on the Right who see what is going on, but they are not willing, it appears, to speak out as much as the Left does.

You, on the other hand, write a story on a forever home for a furry friend, a website will be utterly crashed. So no, it is not just the media. If you rely in eyes on screen for income, guess what stories will tend to be written? Of course, my take with compare and contrast and not going we are number one is also problematic
