I don't understand what a puffin has to do with that smarmy, self-regarding caption on it.  DUmmie "artwork" is always so bad.

I think the way the puffin is stepping along while looking downward is supposed to make it appear purposeful and contemplative.

But again, that just adds to the lie because there is nothing purposeful or contemplative about the statement.

The bird appears to be purposeful and contemplative when in reality it is not; it's merely walking along, ding whatever puffins do at the unction of the flotsam in their puffin minds.

So too do they wish to appear purposeful and contemplative when they are not; they merely drift from one chemically induced state to another.

They aren't purposeful. Because they are not willing to pay more. They are certainly free to do so here and now without any legislative impetus. The reality is they want everyone else to pay more.

Nor do they have any intention of feeding the poor family because they prefer to seat themselves among the 1,000 lazy bums -- hence their penchant for the mob rule of "democracy." They aren't contemplative, they're relying on everyone else to be uncritical of their demands.

They are liars, through and through.
