 BuzzFeed recently spoke with Pornhub’s very informative Insights blog about where the largest amounts of gay pornography were being watched, broken down by states with and without same-sex marriage.
 
Pornhub discovered that every single state in the South watches porn at a higher percentage than the average of states where gay marriage is legal.

Interesting to note that the states with the highest percentages are states with high minority populations, also. 

This seems to contradict itself.

     So, let's review what we've learned from DU on this matter:

  • They seem surprised that there are gay people in the South.
  • They equate watching gay porn with being gay.
  • They assume that all watchers of gay porn in the South are inbred hicks (then again, they are sure that EVERYONE in the South is inborn)


     In other words, we've learned nothing new, and nothing of value. We are to believe that being gay is not a choice, and should therefore not be shamed, but if you are born gay in the South, you ABSOLUTELY should be ashamed, and if you're not, they will shame you.

     Said differently: DU is, once again, the most situationally homophobic site on the internet, populated by raving homophobes. But again, we already knew that.
