Arab League, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Reject Recognizing Israel As ‘Jewish State’

Just a cut and paste, really. We know the story but it's the comments that make the funny:

2. Why does Israel have to be a "Jewish State"? Does America have to be a "Christian state"?

Does Egypt or Saudi Arabia have to call themselves "Islamist States"? Then, does India become a "Hindu State"? Or, if it is race that Israel wants to focus on, does that mean that non-Jews are second-class citizens? Or they're not welcome? Or is everyone else a "guest" race?

I just really don't get it. Is this "Jewish State" thing over race or religion? Either way, why do they have to declare themselves exclusive? Is that going to help anything?

 

  It's hard to imagine the stupidity that is DU, but they never fail to give it their all.

There is a lot of superficial stupidity, but if you drill down, you will see layers like the rings of a tree.
