Solar Panels Frying Birds Along Major Migration Path
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/11/12/Oops-Solar-Energy-Plants-are-Killing-Rare-birds

Quote
Some animal rights activists are wondering just how many birds green energy may unintentionally kill as more and more birds turn up dead at solar energy facilities throughout California.

A recent article by Vice author Lex Berko notes that dead birds are being found with "singed wings" around several California solar energy facilities.

It happens that many of California's solar plants are, the article claims, in the path of "the four major north-to-south trajectories for migratory birds" called "the Pacific Flyway."

Green energy is cruel to animals. Like to see animal rights go against eco-whackos.

Prairies vanish in the US push for green energy

ROSCOE, S.D. (AP) — Robert Malsam nearly went broke in the 1980s when corn was cheap. So now that prices are high and he can finally make a profit, he's not about to apologize for ripping up prairieland to plant corn.

The pursuit of green energy has been destructive to the environment.

Then the poor birds get rerouted right into the windmill blades.

Solar panels are also frying the desert tortoises along with lots of other creatures.

It might take a year or more for them to study this, but if one grasshopper is found dead near an oil well they want it shut down immediately.

It has been the major problem faced with these panels.. I think we should continue to use these panels to produce power and solve energy crisis.

So it's better to have a Solar array =

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

take up this much land than to have a Hydroelectric plant take up =

XXXXXXXXXXXXX

for less power?

Sure, makes sense................ :hammer:

Do any of the cooked birds taste like fried chicken?

So far we have solar panels killing migratory birds and wind power generators killing Bald Eagles with Obama's Blessing.

Nuclear power is the far less dangerous power source for the good of everyone.

I'm guessing more like baked.  Probably have to have them sprayed down with cooking oil first if you that fried taste.

Scooter--little ejamacatin time for ya--I work in the utility industry.  I work on solar, wind, substation, etc.,  I've worked in nuclear power as well.

Trust me, instant fried pigeons ain't the least of the solar industry worries.  Not by a longshot.
