In other words, the "huge drop" is the same number as before, only lower than the all time record.
Basically, numbers haven't changed that much.
Yesterdays temperature was 40 degrees, a huge drop from the record high of 98 degrees in July.

Those numbers are extremely good for a cable show.  Almost every other cable show would die for those numbers.

The DUmmies really don't pay attention to themselves or what they write.

The OP used the Daily Mail as the source, and the DUmmies lap it up because to them the post was good news.

When the Mail is a source for something they disagree with, it is 'rag' or 'unreliable' or sometimes with the more forceful DUmmies, a 'non credible' source.

I love it the way they can change their opinion on a whim.
