Even though I loathe their political Stance, it's sad to see someone alone at Christmas.
I'm glad you posted that Gina. I've spent a Christmas or two alone too. It does indeed suck. I've made it a habit with single friends, especially if they live far from family, to invite them over for Thanksgiving or xmas for this reason.
I kind of get the 'needs' lady's point too, but I would guess her parents see her struggling and think they probably don't have money for luxuries so want to treat her and the kids to things she probably can't afford. I don't know why she would get pissy about that. It's HER job to provide for her children's needs, not her parents.
and while she is wailing on her parents trying to treat them(damn them

where is the daddy of these 4 children to help so the Christmas list doesn't have to consist of 'needs'? Also, why is mom only a full time student? I do both as a single mother--full time school and employment. I know..I'm a bitch for saying it. I just think she's ungrateful as hell. Would have been nice in my lean years to get anything from my dad and she's bitching because they want to spoil them a bit through their struggles.
