Poor Mother, she is reading a book about all the problems our Pilgrims faced with the Socialist concept first tried Long, Long ago. 

She seems amazed that Socialism will not work when human nature comes into the mix.

It really only works for insects like ants and bees, where specific individuals are genetically programmed to sacrifice themselves for the greater good (i.e. the worker bee who works themselves to death)

Those poor, poor bees. If the democrats really were the nature lovers that they claim to be they'd just give up on continuing to 'fix' the US and would try to help those poor bees who are working themselves to death. I'm sure that Pelosi, Reid, and 0bama could 'fix' the bee economy and have them all out of work in no time flat.
