Emphasizing your complete misunderstanding of the 2nd Amendment doesn't really bode well for responses to you, now does it?

Hint: It isn't about hunting nor is it about self-defense although those are really good byproducts.

From what I understand the 2 amendment  was to protect us from a corrupt government or foreign invasion.

Seems like we now have both and need to finally wake up and take advantage of this RIGHT.  We have to use our RIGHTS or we will loose them.

I bought the son a S&W AR-15-22LR....it's a semi automatic 22 cal. rifle, that's all, nice for killing tin cans and paper targets.
DUmmie saw it and went berserk, I had equipped my evil son with a black, scary assault weapon...woooooooo.

If the Obamapolice come to take me away, it's way down the list of weapons of choice.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

side note:  contrary to what someone said on here, I was able to post in DU's general discussion forum about the fact that I owned guns and hunted and was not banned. Thus far, it has gotten several replies in agreement and no hide. And 1 recommendation.

Just one more data point for you DU watchers.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

No doubt, PeW is already whining and mewling to skinner how unfair it is.  :bawl:
Little lad tries to prove a point. Epic fail.  :loser:

Refute that, PeW.  :lmao:

Why did you phrase it this way?:

I guess the most it can be used for is a bludgeon.

Why didn't just say you could use it as a club?
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I have many, many firearms.
And I don't hunt animals.

I have a few.

H5 for the collection. :cheersmate:

A few are no longer mine but almost all are still owned by me. Some are in MI and some are in TN. That's 40+ years worth.

Never was a rifle. Always been a handgun/pistol.
It will out shoot the majority of riffles.  :-)

Out to 100 yds. Anything beyond that, sorry Charlie.

Not true.  That's my prairie poodle shooter.  It reaches much further.
Still beats the majority of 'riffles". :-)

Because either suffices and bludgeon was the first word that came to me. Probably due to all of the police procedurals on TV where they refer to the victim being bludgeoned to death.

Yes, This one.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=4154691

It was ruled as off topic by one moderator and later restored. It has 10 recs and 98 replies--most are favorable. Even after I added my disclosure some of you apparently was all-important to mention re: 12 guage in my possession.

So thread is still active. Wasn't hidden. I wasn't banned. Challenge answered no matter how much picking at nits and whining you want to do.

Using the term "all", is a reach.  Some, or many would be more accurate.

Yes, PeW, it was hidden till you now doubt whined to Skimmer, and convinced the lad what you were doing was good.
