The Spirit of Sandy? Really?? It's like something from Idiocracy! It is appalling.

Had it not been for the preceding political/social horrors or 9/11ism and Bushism and Giulianism, etc.. the Christie thing would have been seen as a singularly classless, vulgar, cynical exploitation of disaster and misery.

But since Christie didn't actually propose invading a hail-storm to teach hurricanes a lesson it was accepted as somehow reasonable.

WTF?  It was Christie's embrace of Obama after Sandy that also helped get Obama reelected. Of course many of those left homeless by Sandy are still suffering.
