You know, Steve's main point, that stupid natural gas thing, just never gained any traction, and this campaign is getting down to the short hairs.
Polling in Bellevue shows the neckbeard less popular than Ted Cruz in the Bronx.
He needs a new issue to ignite some interest in his candidacy or it's going to be another embarrassing election night.
I think the Weeper should present Bellevue residents with a new, single-payer healthcare insurance plan. It would be open only to Bellevue residents, and could be financed by charging a toll on every car passing across the Bellevue city limits. Ten cents for every city resident, and a buck for non-residents. No deductible, no co-pay, no premium, no Bellevue resident refused. Totally free.
If costs get out of line, just increase the non-resident toll.
He could call it Stevecare, and have his webmaster (who still hasn't corrected the spelling on that tab) put up a page for signups.
Steve's webmaster could handle the job, since I'm pretty sure he's the same one the jug-eared muslim used for his healthcare site.
He could turn this council election on its head.
