I have to say that I'm not a fan of the Canadian DUmmies - there's a few of them who are particularly noxious and vile...it seems odd that these folk are not (from my English perspective) foreigners; whereas the good, sensible, civilised American folk here are.
Canadians can be kind of weird.
I dunno about the perspective of New Englanders here, who are close to Canada, but then and again, the
quebecquois are a different breed themselves. I have no idea what they're like.
Around here, we get the best of Canadians--those from western Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan--but even they seem sort of bland, shallow.
British Columbians might as well be from Washington, Oregon, or California, which is not good.
Australians are more our style.
