People are hurting out there

Most of the people I see shop at groceries stores in my areas these days..about three quarters have food stamps now which is staggering. And they only shop the first few weeks when there is a balance on the EBT cards. That is why most BOGO sales by the super markets or low price deals like Wal mart are always at the start of the month. The start of the month is when benefits are also distributed for social security recipients as well. Payroll hours are highest for the first two weeks for workers and then plummets the remaining weeks of the month (exception being WIC vouchers). The average for super market part time workers the first two week is like 20 hours per week and then tapers off to 15 hours per week during the dead part of the month. With that kind of pay, even those workers at the supermarkets are on foodstamps. What a sad cycle our middle class has been caught into and the 1% are laughing to the bank.

I'm confused I thought food stamps were good and that they put in $1.80 for every $1.00 spent into the economy. I thought they created jobs.

This is what the DUmmies voted for, and when they see the results they blame the 1%, the repukes, and everyone in the world but democrats.

This is why the democrat party works so hard to keep these people poor. People who are doing well don't need the democrats and their social programs.

When I see post of Wealthy "Entrepreneurs" who just made a Billion. Like that's going to help.

Well a wealthy entrepreneur more than likely hired a bunch of folks, in fact that billionaire probably helped make some other people millionaires. The only millionaires that 0bama could make are those who were once billionaires.

11. The economy has been repaired.

The economy was broken before Bush. It has since been repaired and 20% unemployment has driven wages and benefits down properly.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

So, steer clear of the riff-raff, do your grocery shopping near the end of the month.

NOW WAIT!!!!

Obama was the guy to make socialism/communism/liberalism/fascism/progressivism work. Every really, really smart person told me he was the WON.

The electing of the first truly socialist and gay president was to put a Skittle shitting Unicorn in every pot, lower the sea levels, and make all boo-boos heal spontaneously. What. The. Hell. Happened?

Not just him, the entire fourth estate lied and lied and lied and lied and is still lying.

This economy really sucks.  Bacon used to be under $3/lb, T-Bones, ribeyes and other steaks would be on sale for under $6/lb.  Just last week we paid $8.99/lb for 1 inch thick ribeyes, and to top it off we had to buy 6 of them because there were 3 in every pack and only two of us. That was over 40 some dollars just for the steaks.

Without the Recovery Act’s boost, SNAP benefits will average less than $1.40 per person per meal in 2014.

That's $126 a month.

We should make a cookbook for DUmmies on how to eat on that amount.

Yes, some people are hurting and a lot of it can be blamed on themselves. My work at a local ministry proves that every time I'm there.

We cannot give out checks to the needy for utility bills or prescription any longer.  Why?  Because two of those good 'needy' folks we handed checks to decided to use our routing and number to defraud us.  Another tried changing the amount we wrote on the check.

Every time I work we have those who come in with fake addresses and other lies.  We have those who bitch about the type of food we give them or the kind of clothes we provide.  They'll pick out a 50 cent shirt or $1 pair of shoes and try to brow beat the cashier into charging the 10 cents because "that's all they worth."  A guy who was working on my roof one week and telling me how good he had it here in GA sent his wife to the ministry the next week saying they had no income.  These type of people don't care that they're making it hard for the ones who actually need help or that they're ripping off a damn charity.

Yeah, some people are hurting out there and too many of them are getting freebies and government bennies by lying and cheating.  I like what I do, but man, sometimes it gets me soured on some representatives of the human race.

It's been 6 years.  I thought Obama was supposed to have fixed everything by now with millions of shovel ready jobs.

Oh, I know...It's still the Republican's fault.  Their obstructing him, even though the Democrats control 2 out of the 3 branches of the legislative portion of the Federal Government.

Until something goes right, it will be somebody else that is to blame.

Obama must be protected at all costs.

Did you guys see this about the TIME magazine covers?

Damn conservative media. The former big wig of TIME is now in Obama's regime at the Ministry of Truth.

How many of those "starving" people are buying dried beans and rice at the beginning of the month when they still have money?  How about basic oatmeal?
