Assad may very well be playing us for suckers.

He's no dummy.

He may have to give up his chemical weapons but he'll play this out until he has no choice.... Hoping the civilized world will have a memory of a flea and he can hold on to them.

The only thing this murderous dictator cares about are his weapons....and he sure as hell doesn't want to lose them.

Only a credible threat will make him do something.

Watch....he will play this for all the time he can get until the world forgets.

Its ok to hope it happens....just don't be played a sucker.

Just who would issue a credible threat anyway?
It is proven that 0bama has zero credibility on anything, Assad isn't any better. So the world is at the mercy of two liars who are depending on the short memories of the general public. Both sides are trying to play us for suckers on this, and as usual the low information voters will eat it up.

1. you think Obama is just taking him at his word ?

no, there will be much more that would need to be done and we will see if he is serious.

I'm sure if he doesn't comply the world will draw another red line.  :-)

15. It gives the President some breathing space. It gives Assad some breathing space.

The President was facing a political nightmare on the Hill.

Time is a good thing.

Yeah because poor 0bama facing a nightmare is the most important thing in this mess.  :whatever:

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Naturally Assad is playing us for suckers.      He seems to know the players much better then Obama, he is no ones fool.      Obama however is a world class chump, ready to assign anyone as a spokes man for him as long as he can,  Shuck and jive, dance around any problems and grab his golf bag to head out on the links.

What the hell have we got here, what have we done to get this  "little Boots " into authority ?

Interesting time in MY life, and most of ours, much like reading the Fall of Rome.  History does repeat but in this time with the possible distruction of not tens of thousands we have the ability to bring man kind down to a few million and we have to start all over again.

Only takes one man with a ignorant attitude to become the Pawn of others, to become a puppet of people and not even realize it.     Obama is a twit whose house is on fire, but what does he care he has 50 other homes to go to.

1. Assad is not playing us for suckers, he is playing Obama and his merry band of idiots for suckers.

2. It is not Assad but Putin that is playing Obama and his merry band of idiots for suckers.

3. We have an absolutely clueless leader in Obama at the helm of our country.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

For those who aren't aware, the jessie04 primitive has been a proponent of launching missiles into Syria. Obumbler drew the red line, it was crossed, so we should attack.

Putin just bought Syria plenty of time. It could take months to work out the details of anything they do.

Months hell, Iran has been dancing us around for years.  First they will have to decide the shape of the conference table.  Diplomats are as useless as tits on a boar.

Yes, because it's all about whether or not the rodeo clown scores political points...   :whatever:

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Checkmate.  Putin wins again.

What were the odds?

Putting an experienced KGB Lt. Col., up against an inexperienced community organizer and what else are you going to get?

Also Putin is playing for Russia, Obama is not playing for America. Obama is playing for Obama no matter what damage happens to our country. Sadly,Obots think that is the best thing for the country.

Not sure but I will bet the Israelite community is not looking at America as a friend, at this point.

Have to remember the Israelites , being a small country have some awesome fighting machines,  they also have the fast attack Subs and some boomers.   The stuff they have on the ground is nothing like what they have lurking in the sea, same as Americans have.

Obama has no idea nor does he want to about warfare, he is a man raised up by Muslims that road camel backs and horses to take over the world at the time.

How did we ever get Obama as a leader in our time is a mystery to me.

Israel must be kept protected at all costs, we have to protect the holey ground for all faiths other wise we loose all faith.

The 100% Dear Leader worshipers on the island are on day 2 of trying to convince the world that their master came up with this brilliant idea and that he played everyone to do exactly what he wanted them to do.

The only ones who were played are the ones who are defending Dear Leader and covering for his blunders. He could get those idiots to believe anything. The term "useful idiots" has never been so applicable as it is when making reference to the true cult followers of Obumbler.

Two things.

1. Assad was winning the the civil war against al Qaeda backed rebels so did not need to use chemical weapons. Most likely they were sent to the rebels from Benghazi.

2. Speaking of petty little dictators and their weapons. How many people has Obama killed in drone attacks?  More than those killed by chemical weapons is my guess.

Cut him some slack.  Since Reggie left, all he has for relaxation is golf and playing with his drones.
