Sending money via Paypal -- how does it work on the recipient's end.

The sender's end is easy, click click click.

How does the recipient claim the funds. I kinda couldn't figure that part out. The Paypal site only says they need an e-mail. How do they redeem it, especially if they need to use it in real life, not for online purchases?

Advise, please, I would like to do this for someone.

1. They need to have a bank account connected to it

I took mine off due to problems with them however.

I am going to shift it to a bank that doesn't have much funds instead.

3. Kinda what I thought.

That may not work in this situation.

Anyone know alternatives?

4. You can get their debit card

If that is still available. It allows you to access the funds like a debit card.

I don't know if that feature is still there though.

6. Alternatives.

If both of you have major bank accounts, you can just do an e-transfer through e-mail.

You don't even have to know their bank, or their bank account number.

They can deposit it wherever they want.

Check your bank on-line, and set up e-transfer capabilities.

Then just direct the $$ transfer to their e-mail as the recipient.

It's a bit of a chore to set up the capability, but if you have any problems with it, just contact your bank.

Once it's set up, it's awful handy.

OR

You could use the old system, send them a money order!

2. It looks like they can choose different options.

They get an email that allows them to transfer the money to an existing account or they can spend it.

5. Well, from what I am doing with Paypal and Wishadoo.

Is, as long as the have their account verified using there bank account or, like when my card finally comes in, a Paypal Debit card, the money can get transfer to the card or account.

They will have to have it verified before they can pull it though. Apparently it just sets there till they have the verification.

LFR jumped right in there.  Nobody told Dennis to use his credit card with Pay Pal.  I expect he wants to send money to the freeloader trying to hold on to dad's house.

Has skimmer told her to stop spamming the lounge? She went from four posts a day to none for three days now.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I just got some sneakers. Does anybody know how to tie the laces? Should I take them out and just use them as slip ons?

I would hate to see the questions on a forum of people that do not think they are the smartest in the room.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
