A domestic dispute that began with an argument over a used tampon discarded on the floor ended last night with the arrest of a Florida woman for allegedly battering her husband.

As detailed in a probable cause affidavit, the husband of Cortteza Liandra Sellers, 32, asked her to speak with her 17-year-old daughter about the discarded tampon. “While discussing the unsanitary nature of leaving used tampons on the floor, the argument became heated,” reported a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

Two things come to mind:

Ex husband and new younger wife came to visit.  The new wife used our bathroom and left a used tampon in my sink.

We had a coworker that smelled to high heaven all month and some one suggested she had a used tampon collection.     Darn some were down right geniuses as to what to do with a used tampon.

One male who was a hunter, fisher man, suggested when bear hunting to place them in bear country as bait, hang them low in the trees, smell would draw in the bears.     

Every thing as curtain tassels on tie backs, to Christmass decorations.   Recycle everything.

Now if we could only recycle dirty disposable diapers we could make a fortune and solve a huge problem.
