My 200 pound Saint Bernard was never fixed and fortunately never exposed to a female in heat.
My 4 pound Taco Dog unfixed went missing, we combed the neighborhood for 2 days, put up flyers, knocked on doors. We had just about givening up hope when a neighbor stopped in with her female dog offering to help look for the little guy.
Damn cat did it again.
Anyway she told me her dog was in heat and came into my house. Out of no where we heard a commotion in the coat closet, some how the dog had gotten closed in when the door closed and decided to sleep for a few days. Hey the dog was Mexican and may have decided to take a long mid day nap.
It was the SMELL of a female dog in heat that was driving him crazy, most dogs will get curious when a woman is on the rag but not want to have sex with her. They may do a lot of embarrassing crotch sniffing but that is about all.
