Vesta my dear, that is by far the funniest thing you have ever typed.  :lmao:

What color is the sky in your world??

I will have to speak to Al Gore about that with Global warming and cooling.

Yes Mass. people can become some nasty bits of people, however the further north one goes the more civilized people become.  Or until one hits Canada where in some spots if one does not speak French then it becomes like parts of Florida where you have a problem if you do not speak some kind of Spanish.

I guess I blundered about in life totally ignorant of what was going on around me and my family.    We just jumped aboard the life style of others with no preconceived notions and just felt, a Show us who you are point of view.

Never felt any reason to defend our life style to anyone and welcomed bits and pieces of  others life style into our lives.

Oh yes we did run into some very hate full folk, but it did not come from tradition or long held religious beliefs.    It came from the worse of the worse somehow getting together to stoke their hate with like minded.

A tip for those heading into Dixie from the North, Address all elderly as sir, black or white.   Show respect to the people  and treat all as one would your Mom or Dad.      Respect is a big thing in the southern States, something the North has forgotten.

Come to think about it the North has forgotten the meaning of respect in the last 2 decades.

My 86 year old uncle is headed at this time for VT.   Lord knows what he will think of the 10k nude bike rides, We in the North have gone Nuts.

What to do heading for a vacation in VT and the roads are closed by the police to allow 1500 naked people to pass peddling away for some reason even they can not describe.

You ask what color my sky is,    I have no idea, it all depends on someone else to tell me.
