Nobody has proven they did, or did not, actually.  Intelligence community insiders have let it be known that they could have retrieved any actual messages they wanted to out of that ocean of data, but nobody has the goods (Which would all have been done by some acting illegally within the protective envelope of an already-classified process anyway) on anyone actually doing that to date.  I am not that trusting of either the politicians or the intelligence community.

Just saw the link on DU to the other thread in here, and I couldn't resist but join in.

Those ****ing morons make me want to be a conservative.  I'm fairly against almost everything you people stand for, but dammit at least you're consistent.  Conservatives start from the facts, and then draw the wrong conclusions from those facts.  BUT AT LEAST YOU START FROM THE FACTS, and I can at least respect that.

Day after day that I posted there I would have to wade through bullshit post after bullshit post.  And when you tell them "Hey, what you just said there?  It's not actually true", they respond with "bullshit!" in the subject line and don't even bother to put "n/t" to let people know there's no message in the body of the reply.  (Which is just common ****ing netiquette, but what else can you expect from those idiots?)

The Zimmerman thing was even worse.  It was completely clear that the state had NO CASE against the guy.  THE LEAD COP SAID HE BELIEVED ZIMMERMAN'S STORY.  The evidence, ALL THE EVIDENCE pointed to a fight that broke out and Zimmerman shooting in self defense.  Be against Zimmerman all you want, but don't pretend like Trayvon didn't punch him, don't pretend like Trayvon wasn't on top, don't pretend like it was Trayvon who was yelling for help.  Yet all you saw was post after post of bullshit, as if every single piece of evidence wasn't being shown to the world on TV every day.

Those assholes have no respect for truth.  They live in their little bubble and believe what they believe, no matter how far removed it is from reality.  Obama is THE MOST LIBERAL president in U.S. history.  I'm sure that drives you guys completely nuts.  I ****ing love the guy.  But over on DU, there's post after post of Obama bashing, calling him a conservative.  Are you ****ing kidding me?  Then they pretend like Obama is a king, completely ignoring, - and again, DENYING THE FACTS - that he has to deal with a Republican controlled House and filibuster rules in the Senate.  The ****ing morons don't even understand basic high school civics.  Obama can't just wave a magic wand and do what he wants, he has to compromise and work with the other side.
