Once they changed the CC law here in WV you don't see many that open carry now. Used to see them all the time. Now, not so much.

When I drove a truck, there was a place in Chesapeake we would stop at to fuel up before we made the trip south down the WVTP.

One night, the cashier had a .38 strapped to his hip, and I asked him if he was expecting trouble, or looking to prevent trouble.  He smiled and said whatever came his way, he was ready for it.

They also had a sign at the door that read "This store protected by .38 Special, 3 nights a week.  You guess which nights!"

I guess Wednesday was one of them...   :lmao:

Liberals are like Slinkys.  Basically useless, but they do bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

But, I just felt like they were somehow inhibiting my freedom to speech. I can't exactly figure out the how, or the why, or the what of the whole thing.
Because, when you're making things up, you don't have to, snookums.

Isn't adolescent arrest wonderful?

74. Im an army vet of 18 years. OIF 2003-2004. They wear this for intimidation

I know guns. Ive been up to my neck in gun culture and the ARMY culture since I was 19.

Guns can be intimidating. People WANT them to be intimidating. This guy you saw today is daring you to say something. And you didnt.

last time I saw open carry was in the grocery store last fall. LEOs dont openly carry. It was 0430. it was the third time Id seen him in there, I was like "what dude, you think the produce is going to attack? defending yourself from the stockboys? You're a douche"

he gave me a surprised look, tough guy look, confused look, then sad look in that order. Havent seen him again. Dont be intimidated. Its what they want, and I believe, like many bullies, it only takes one or two verbal shots to deflate them.

...and you're as full of shit as the Christmas goose that is stalking you down aisle 7.

Next customer in line start's reaming me a new asshole about how I'm putting his children at risk by not confronting the guy with the gun.

Uh huh...

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

DUmmie Spauldeen, I laughed and laughed at you all through your puke-inducing OP.  Notice how many times he used the word "feeeeel."

When I got out to my car, I just sat behind the steering wheel, angry. I wrapped my fingers tightly around the wheel, and just sat there, all tense, feeling uneasy, and flustered about the whole ordeal.

Here is the deal. You are a crazy person and the above clearly demonstrates that. You being crazy assume all other people are like you when only about 5000 misfits on the DUmp are like you. Ergo you think that the person with the open carry is crazy because that is all you know.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
