I'm glad to be part of that particular 47%. If any DUmmys end up in here , take it from me... Hard work is a good thing.
The week of Thanksgiving 2012, I started a new job as a security guard in a hospital. in January, before my 90 day probation was up I was already promoted to sergeant (asst. shift supervisor). In April I was promoted again to lieutenant (shift supervisor). Now, less than one year into the job, I'm going to be sitting down with my company owner to discuss taking over my own site as a site manager... Less than one year of hard work DUmmys has taken me to a supervisory role over people with years of experience but no drive or ambition.
Not a luxurious life here, but its comfortable. Got a nice apartment, always have food, can take the girlfriend out to dinner once and a while, a nice car... Beats living with Uncle Sucker paying for everything, though the fact I'm paying you moochers does piss me off to no end.
