I don't know what the eventual fallout will be.  Wonder if the MSM will turn on him, now that they've been duped.  Bob Schieffer reportedly was very upset at the lies fed to him (I didn't watch it).

The entire debacle is a disgrace.  Lies, coverups, death.  This should have done him in.  And that ****ing Jay Carney standing up there saying, "that was a long time ago."

Decent people will not forget.

I think the MSM is so much in the tank for Obama, they will just blow off the lies and make excuses for him like they have done in the past. These partisan liberals would not believe their lying eyes if they witnessed it first hand.

Will anything happen to Obama?  Probably not.  If anything, Clinton will take the fall, knowing her chances at 2016 are slim at best now anyway.

However, the Obama legacy takes another hint.  Mark my words, children and grandchildren of mine--history will not look kindly upon the Obama years.

I think Hillary Clinton was nominated so if anything bad happens, she takes the fall. On the surface, the Obamas and Clintons look like friends, but under the surface, they are enemies.

Sharryl Atkisson really deserves a Pulitzer for her work.

Another from Sharryl Atkisson:

Diplomat: U.S. Special Forces told "you can't go" to Benghazi during attacks

By Sharyl Attkisson / CBS News/ May 6, 2013, 12:00 PM

The deputy of slain U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens has told congressional investigators that a team of Special Forces prepared to fly from Tripoli to Benghazi during the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks was forbidden from doing so by U.S. Special Operations Command South Africa.

The account from Gregory Hicks is in stark contrast to assertions from the Obama administration, which insisted that nobody was ever told to stand down and that all available resources were utilized. Hicks gave private testimony to congressional investigators last month in advance of his upcoming appearance at a congressional hearing Wednesday.

According to excerpts released Monday, Hicks told investigators that SOCAFRICA commander Lt. Col. Gibson and his team were on their way to board a C-130 from Tripoli for Benghazi prior to an attack on a second U.S. compound "when [Col. Gibson] got a phone call from SOCAFRICA which said, 'you can't go now, you don't have the authority to go now.' And so they missed the flight ... They were told not to board the flight, so they missed it."

That authority to cross international borders into Libya can ONLY COME FROM THE POTUS!

Let's see what comes from that.

Bottom line, Obama will come out clean. He was misinformed will probably be the line. Hillary, she'll probably land on her feet to. There will be firings of minor officials, hell, some innocent smuck may even go to jail. And the MSM will still be in Obama's pocket. I just have no faith in this Administration doing the right thing.

It seems that they were leaving Tripoli going to Benghazi, last I checked no international border was being crossed as they're both in Libya.

Now if the story meant leaving Aviano.......totally agree.

The Gibson was already in country. Aviano was where the fast response team was located.
