From each according to his ability to each according to his need."- Karl Marx, 1875 Obama used this in one of his speaches. This alone sounds innoccous enough, almost benevolent, but when you look at the entire statement Karl Marx made it takes on a much more sinister tone.

"In a higher phase of communist society, after the enslaving subordination of the individual to the division of labor, and therewith also the antithesis between mental and physical labor, has vanished; after labor has become not only a means of life but life's prime want; after the productive forces have also increased with the all-around development of the individual, and all the springs of co-operative wealth flow more abundantly—only then can the narrow horizon of bourgeois right be crossed in its entirety and society inscribe on its banners: From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs!"

- in laymans terms once everyone gives up individuality and accept your position in society and accepts the work assigned to you without opposition. Once work is no longer a means to achieve your own selfish wants but solely for the survival of society. after everything society produces and the ideas arent protected but shared freely- Only then can the narrow goals of the ruling class be achieved. take from those that are able and give to those that need.

In Socialism there are really only two classes, a working class and a ruling class. There is very little opportunity to move from the working class to the ruling class. That is one reason this administration is trying to create a welfare society. By doing so it changes the mentality of the people from one that is striving for success to one that is simply trying to survive (crushing the individual into accepting a position in society). Our president is very good at what he is doing. he's dividing us into small groups that he can manipulate. He is using every arm of government against us. Take a step back and look at his actions and ask yourself why.
I come in peace, I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you with tears in my eyes: if you **** with me, I'll kill you all! - USMC General James Mattis.

Well the Marxist mind sure missed the boat there.  This current batch we have will never have as their primary "want" to be labor.

Freidrich A. Hayek wrote, in chapter 7 of The Road to Serfdom, "A planned economy must be dictatorial".

All the words on the subject of economic liberty, , by all the authors, may be distilled down to that one sentence. For Marx, the dictatorship is his Utopia. For Keynes, it is the Man Behind the Curtain. For Rothbard or von Mises, it is the Mark of the Beast (mixaphorically speaking). For Hayek himself, it is a detested inevitability.
Government is the negation of liberty.
  -Ludwig von Mises
