What I find interesting is, I wrote that 4 years ago taking the then-talking points of the Proglodytes to their illogical extreme.
Illustrating absurdity by being absurd, as one radio host is known to say.
What I so often fail to appreciate -- as the OP demonstrates -- is the extremes that I employ will one day become the natural evolution of the argument the Proglodytes actually believe to be sound reasoning.
There is no depth of absurdity deep enough that I can plunge that the Proglodytes won't seek on their own because they simply are not rational enough to refrain from the monstrosities that arise.
