Like prohibition it's time to amend the second amendment.

Because Prohibition worked so well when that happened.  You stupid f***ers at DUmmieland have no idea about 2nd and 3rd order of effects.  Like how Prohibition speed up the growth of the mafia families, i.e. Capone.

Like prohibition it's time to amend the second amendment.

So which part of prohibition are you talking about, numbnuts?  The Constitutional amendment that installed strict alcohol control, or the later one that undid the whole thing about ten years later, after the first one proved to be not only a horrifyingly abject failure but a jumpstart for organized crime?

My guess is something along the lines of the 28th Amendment, in which the RKBA is restricted to the military and you have to register with the state and federal officials to own a slingshot.

If they were actually able to do this, the 'fun' part would be going to get all of the firearms that would suddenly be 'illegal.'

I would love for a liberal to come here and explain to my poor little conservative self some interesting similarities in one of their gun laws.

Why are there so many similarities (almost word for word) in the 1968 gun control laws, that were written by a democrat, and the gun control laws that were passed in Germany in 1938?

And like good little liberals are want to do, they're coming out of the closet.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

All it takes is to interpret the word MILITIA different.
It is really not that hard.

Only a true liberal would suggest applying Newspeak as a solution.

The OP needs to talk to an actual Constitutional expert.
The second was instituted as part, to prevent what the OP advocates.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I say we do the same thing to abortion while we are at it and see how much they howl and scream about "How their rights are being violated" when no where in the Constitution does it say a woman has the right to murder an unborn child yet it clearly states we have the "Right to keep and bare arms".
