Because they felt they were thrown under the buss. That is the lesson partisans should have learned.

Those who staid home missed the other lesson of 2010, you want a progressive pol in congress, make sure you vote for him or her for the school board...this will take a generation

Actually she is. I've been working on this story for a couple of days now. Just a little bit more leg work and the Fictional Spirit-Guide News Network is going to blow the lid off of her little secret.
