If you did not see them in the major networks, I will not be too shocked. My local media showed up, apart of me. We had one station run a 20 second tape... after that... crickets.

My legs are still sore from chasing pols.

I think she meant to write, "apart from me" as in media people other than herself arrived; because she considers herself a legitimate member of the media.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Today's your lucky day. I hereby proclaim you a trained historian. Now write some inane jibberish and send it in to some no-name online rag.

I think she meant to write, "apart from me" as in media people other than herself arrived; because she considers herself a legitimate member of the media.

If Dan Rather, Rachael Madcow, and others are consider "legit" media, why not the Nads?

Hell, she can't do any worse than the above examples, she just has a much smaller audience. :-)

Come to think of it, she may have a larger audience than Dan. :rotf:

100 rallies for what cause?  I'm guessing for society-sanctioned sodomy and the exchanges of same-sex body fluids?

No clue.  I probably don't want one.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

The crazy bald dwarf only dreams of writing for a bird cage liner.

She sends her unpaid, half-baked drivel on union demonstrations and grassfires to an internet blog called East County Magazine.

There is no paper to line the birdcage, just a website.

The person who puts out the blog is a San Diego moonbat named Miriam Raftery.

It's interesting to see now nadin ranks even at a half-assed blog:

I'm sure nutcase nadin is thrilled to be credited as one of the "others".

"Award-winning writers..." Funny that they don't mention the award: Nadin's DOTY.

Nutcase nadin's DOTY is at least equal to anything won by those other "award winners".

I'm not embarrassed to say I've never heard of even one of them.

I think Crazy Miriam may be jealous of nadin's notoriety.

My legs are still sore from chasing pols.

Looks like she's chasing down all the people who keep touching her with 10 foot poles.
I imagine that would be pretty exhausting.

You know, that's one thing that makes me look at the cousin with Utter Contempt.

Please notice how she points out what a "sacrifice" she's making, in being a "reporter."

The aches and pains, the dirty clothes, the time and trouble, the woes--oh, the woes, especially of being underappreciated.

Yep, the cousin's making a really big sacrifice there, in all that she does to bring us the news.

It's almost as if she doesn't know there's other jobs that people do every day without complaint, that involve aches and pains, time and trouble, dirty clothes, &c., &c., &c.

Well, yeah, but those other people are getting paid.

Imagine if a real reporter were like nadin.

[real reporter on camera talking to anchorman back at station]: .....and blew a crater 673 yards across, killing 1,455 and injuring more than 3,000.....and I tell you, it was pretty hard getting this story with the heel of one shoe falling off, and a torn pants' cuff.....

She writes a story like anybody gives a damn what the narrator thinks.
